My sources of statistics anxiety as I begin this course are mainly located in my general lack of precise knowledge about how statistics work and are generated. As the University of Kansas (2019) points out, many students put off taking statistics courses in college because it is the last thing they want to do. There is a great deal of nervousness experienced by people when it comes to analyzing data using statistics and mathematical equations that, to be frank, they simply do not understand. The main problem is the fact that it requires so much covering of so much new ground that the student has never before in all his or her education ever really encountered. So it is very much like entering into foreign territory or being adrift at sea. That is what makes me nervous and gives me statistics anxiety.

The factors that led to our abuse of the disabled in the past is partly due to the lack of oversight and regulation regarding the disabled community and partly because of the cultural influences of the time. When the culture is insensitive to the needs of others and views a certain type or class or population as sub-human, the result is going to be abuse. Leopold von Ranke believed that history was related to politics in the sense that history identified the problems and their causes while, politics, invented in the 19th century according to Ranke, provided the solutions.[footnoteRef:2] In order for political solutions to be effectively developed and applied, history had to be understood critically.[footnoteRef:3] The best way to understand history critically was to examine the primary documents of history as opposed to the interpretations of these documents by historians of the present. Introduction
In the management of type 2 diabetes (T2D), medication adherence is a crucial issue. One of the strategies to ensure medication adherence among T2D patients is nurse-led intervention meant to change the behavior of patients. This study, therefore, seeks to determine how a nurse-led behavior change intervention compares to standard care in patients with T2D in increasing adherence to medication in a period of four months. This section is a literature review that analysis eight literature materials.

In all the articles, the research questions incorporate the aspect of nonadherence to medication/management strategies, however, there are varying aspects in the details of each research question. One of the biggest problems that teens face in school is the problem of peer pressure. As Bandura (2018) notes, the pressure to adapt one’s behavior in order to fit in or stand out comes from media, peers and groups—and in a school, peers are the biggest factor. One way to alleviate that pressure is to create an environment in which everyone fits in ipso facto—and that can easily be achieved by obliging all students to wear a school uniform. One is used to seeing students of private schools wear uniforms, but in public schools this idea is typically shunned. There are good arguments to be made, however, for uniforms to be mandated by public schools. Higher Education Labor Rights Faculty Tenure
...Teaching Tenure refers to a legally secure position, an “indefinite appointment” at an institute of higher learning (AAUP, 2019, p. 1). Of course, extenuating circumstances may enable the educational institution to sever the contract and terminate the tenured faculty. One of those extenuating circumstances would be financial exigency: an unavoidable and unfortunate situation in which the institution experiences severe budget shortfalls and must completely reconsider reallocating resources in order to remain viable at all. A similar extenuating circumstance that may legally permit the termination of a tenured faculty member would be the restructuring of the institution to the degree that whole departments were eliminated, thus eliminating all associated faculty within that department. Other extenuating circumstances that would legally permit the institution to terminate tenured faculty would be serious legal or ethical violations. Otherwise, though, tenured faculty enjoy greater job security and benefits versus their non-tenured colleagues.

In my school setting, I can see some of the principal traits described by Fullan (2010) in our principal: there is a focus on instruction and the need to personalize education—but only to a limited extent. Fullan (2010) argues that this focus needs to be deep and that the principal needs to be obsessed with it, making sure that every student is getting results. In my school, the principal talks about the importance of this objective but does not really provide teachers with help or tools to make it happen. The principal is more of the type of person who says the right things but when it comes to backing up words with action he is MIA.
Fullan’s discussion of “ready, fire, aim, change, savvy” resonates with my own thinking regarding change and the planning of my IIP. I feel that Fullan (2010) is absolutely……
