Nursing quality and adequate staffing are intertwined. Adequate levels of nurse, lower nurse to patient ratio, and also more highly trained nurse are associated with better health outcomes and lower mortality rates. But despite the fact that there is high demand for nurse, and also increased interest in entering this very exciting profession, retaining qualified nurse and recruiting new nurse is a struggle for many hospitals.
