...Great compromise Personal Reflection Paper
Introduction
When it comes to my relationship with my friend Joey, we all seem to end up arguing no matter what the situation is. I have a very dominant personality as does he, and our conflict styles butt heads. In this paper, I will explore my conflict communication with Joey and analyze TRIP goals, power and conflict styles and how they apply to my relationship. Then I will explain how to improve my conflict communication and identify how I would help someone to use conflict communication concepts affecting the working of a team.
Explanation of the Concepts
TRIP Goals
According to Hocker and Wilmot (2014), TRIP is an acronym for topic, relational, identity and process goals. Topic goals are what each party wants (Hocker & Wilmot, 2014, p. 218). A parent may a son to show more discipline. A son may want to have more freedom. With……

...Great compromise Clinical Decision Support and Electronic Health Records
Introduction
Information technology has revolutionized nearly every aspect of life, from how people recreate to how they work. This is no less true in the field of health care, where clinical informatics is reshaping the nursing workplace environment, how patient data is recorded and shared, and how health care is delivered. This paper will discuss clinical informatics concepts emerging in the 21st century, what evidence-based practice (EBP) shows with respect to clinical informatics, how the law figures into this issue with respect to HIPAA, privacy/confidentiality and security issues; and how patient safety, the nursing role and electronic medical records are impacted.
Clinical Informatics Concepts in the 21st Century
Controlling the flow of information to promote efficiency, security, and safety is the number one priority of clinical informatics. 21st century concepts for how this can be accomplished include training in how to find information,……

...Great compromise Spiritual Leadership and the Role of Self Knowledge in Accepting God's Grace
Barton (2018) describes the soul as that “part of you that is most real—the very essence of you that God knew before he brought you forth in physical form” (p. 13). For me, this definition makes perfect sense and I cannot see any way to improve upon it. The soul is the essence of the self: one can think of oneself in so many different ways but unless one is really tuned in to one’s soul he is not going to be understanding himself perfectly—i.e., the way God understands him. Part of what keeps us from God is this lack of self-awareness. Instead of realizing and addressing our weaknesses or the issues that cause the soul to be dragged down, we cover them over and apply slipshod solutions in an attempt to keep going in the way we……
