The untimely death of Kobe Bryant, a well-known basketball player and philanthropist, sent shock waves through the community. The impact of the death was magnified by the fact that the accident that killed him also took the life of his daughter, Gianna Bryant. While he was mourned by people from all walks of life, his death seemed to hit the African American community the hardest, as he had long been considered a role model for African American men, especially in terms of fatherhood. John Lewis Gaddis was born in 1941 and thus grew up and came of age during the Cold War, which he would go on to write about as a historian to great acclaim. Gaddis was raised in Texas and received his education at the University of Texas at Austin, where he obtained a Bachelor’s in 1963, a Master’s in 1965, and a Doctorate in 1968 at the age of 27. He taught at Indiana University, Ohio University, founded the Contemporary History Institute, and became a Visiting Professor of Strategy at Naval War College in the mid-70s. Any narrative on African American history is incomplete if one fails to examine the competition between W.E.B. Du Bois and Booker T. The period between 1970 and 2000 marked a significant change in the film industry as it was the second Golden Age of Hollywood. During this period, filmmaking experienced significant growth due to experimentation with new ideas. The experimentation not only facilitated the production of new movies, but also resulted in changes that included the incorporation of global prestige. This period is regarded as the second Golden Age of Hollywood because the old studio systems that dominated 1930s films broke down totally. Abstract
This proposal describes the need for an ethical standard in counterintelligence. It discusses how an analysis of the formation of the counterintelligence program under Angleton can provide insight into what went wrong with counterintelligence and how those problems can be prevented in the future. It uses a combination of conflict theory, structural functionalism and critical theory to explore the dimensions of counterintelligence in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. The research design is qualitative with the case study approach to Angleton’s counterintelligence serving as the method. The aim of the research is to provide an ethical framework that could be used to help the counterintelligence enterprise collaborate more effectively with the private sector in the future.

A novel approach to organizational behavior, Bolman & Deal’s (2013) model includes the structural, the human resources, the political, and the symbolic frames. The symbolic frame refers to the organization’s use of signs, symbols, and stories to create a brand identity and organizational culture, as well as justify its behaviors. Symbols create and propagate meaning, and encapsulate an organization’s written codes of ethics and values.
Therefore, symbols become one of the most powerful means by which to create and control organizational culture. Bolman & Deal (2013) explain the five assumptions underlying the symbolic frame. The first involves the salience of meaning. What matters most to an organization is not what happens, but what it means on a deeper symbolic level—how actions or facts are interpreted in light of the overarching stories, myths, or symbols that guide the organization and its members.

Stan Lee created many comic book characters and was the person behind Marvel Comics for many years. He was born as Stanley Lieber on December 28, 1922 in New York City. He worked for Timely Comics starting in 1939, and that company became Marvel Comics. Stan Lee was a writer there, and worked with artist Jack Kirby. Stan Lee married his wife Joan in 1947, and they were married for 70 years until she died in 2017. They had two daughters, but one died three days after being born. They moved in 1981 to California.
