In nursing practice, there are quite different in between clinical nursing specialist and nurse practitioner in the scope of operation. Therefore, a clinic nurse specialist works under the legislated scope of practice for a registered nurse but has advanced education. While nurse practitioner works under a separate scope of practice and can perform certain functions and tasks that are outside of the scope of practice of registered nurse, including clinical nurse specialist. Therefore, nurses are equipped with knowledge to make decision without any kind of influence. The model demonstrates that certain emotional states influence the individual's propensity to identify ethical dilemmas, facilitate the formation of the individual's prescriptive judgments at sophisticated levels of moral development, lead to ethical decision choices that are consistent with the individual's prescriptive judgments, and promote the individual's compliance with his or her ethical decision choices. In particular, the model suggests that individuals experiencing arousal and positive affect resolve ethical dilemmas in a manner consistent with more sophisticated cognitive moral structures. Implications for theory and practice are discussed (Alice Gaudine and Linda Thome, 2001).

In health care system, nurses are required to maintain competency in the professional service deliver. This is by following the lay down code of ethics and professional skills and experience to render service to patients in any health care facilities (D Bryant, Lukosius, 2006).

In a nutshell the dynamic nature of the health care systems have changed the nursing profession to work hard and to anticipate the future health care needs for which nurses are prepared to address a broader and complex needy of patients.

However, nurses are currently prepared to build and lead collaborative inter-professional care teams, navigate and integrate care services across health care system, design innovative nursing practices and translate evidence into practice (Marry Anne, 2011).

In addition, graduates of master's degree programs in nursing are prepared with broad knowledge and practice expertise that are built and expanded according the demands of the society. This preparation provides graduates with a fuller understanding of the discipline of nursing in order to engage in higher level practice and leadership in a variety of settings and commit to lifelong learning. This is therefore what has provided greater skills to master prepared nurses to execute better services within the health care system (Karen Saucier Lundy, Sharyn Janes, 2009).
