Introduction: What is Level Five Leadership?
Level Five Leadership is a concept developed by Jim Collins in the book Good to Great. Level Five Leaders are top notch leaders: they are the greats who make big things happen. They are ones about whom books are written. They are the ones who leave the biggest shoes to fill when they are gone.
Collins describes five levels of leadership. This paper will briefly discuss the four levels that precede the top level. Then it will define what it means to be a Level Five Leader and will provide some examples of Level Five Leadership that can be found in the world today.

Introduction
Sylvia Plath’s first person narrator in The Bell Jar comes across as a Holden Caulfield type—a disaffected, somewhat lost, but highly intelligent individual capable of critical thought and therefore exceedingly lonely in a world of conformists, who seem to show no desire to question anything or to know themselves. The narrator of Plath’s novel is Esther Greenwood—a young woman living in New York, a city she loathes. As a result of an acute sense of not being able to fit in anywhere, Esther suffers from depression and tries to kill herself. She ends up receiving a number of shock therapies—such as insulin shock therapy and electroshock therapy—before finally beginning to feel free to be her own person without fear. The Provisional IRA formed in response to a war between the Irish Republican Army and the British state in Northern Ireland from 1969 to 1998. The IRA or what is commonly referred to as the IRA in the West was actually a breakaway from the Army and is better known as PIRA in Ireland. The Pew Research article by Drake (2013) shows that men spend more time in leisure activity than women, and the argument that has developed from this news article is that there is a leisure gap between men and women that further shows the state of gender inequality in America today. While the data from the American Time Use Survey that the article cites does show that statistically speaking men spend more time in leisure activities than women, the data itself does not tell the whole story—so the article is definitely slanted in a way so as to suggest that the leisure gap is real and that men are still taking advantage of women. The Quakers had been given Pennsylvania by William Penn, whose father had held ties with the King of England (Fantel). The Puritans were in New England. Baptists established themselves in the South.
