Mission Command
...Resilience What is the Art of Leadership
Mission command is defined in the Army Doctrine Publication 6-0 as “the exercise of authority and direction by the commander using mission orders to enable disciplined initiative within the commander's intent to empower agile and adaptive leaders in the conduct of unified land operations” (McBride & Snell, 2017). The philosophy and concepts of mission command can be found in the six guiding principles of mission command, which are: 1) using mutual trust to build a cohesive team, 2) creating a sense of shared understanding, 3) being clear about what the commander’s intent is, 4) exercising an initiative that is disciplined, 5) using mission orders, and 6) accepting prudent risk (Hutchings, 2018). Thus, one can see that the most important concepts in the philosophy of mission command are trust, communication, understanding, discipline, guidance and prudence. My Personal Model: Transformational Leadership
My own personal model of leadership is transformational leadership. This model focuses on giving following a vision of what they should work to become. The transformational leader identifies and explains the goal that the organization is trying to reach and how workers can help the organization to achieve that goal. It typically requires a change in the behavior and approaches of the workers, so logic and reason are used to show why this change is needed, which is a way of helping to break down resistance to the change (Nawaz & Khan, 2016). Communication is a key skill used in this model, and transformational leaders have to be able to relate well with followers, provide support along the way, and keep them focused on the vision and the mission. The extensive use of advanced technological solutions in the maritime industry is driven by the urgent need to maintain the industry in sync with all other industries that seem to have a step forward in adopting technological solutions. As a result of this growth and development in technological solutions, the security of data and other sensitive information has increasingly become a huge concern for the industry (Bueger, 2015). Cybersecurity has become a priority for the maritime industry. With many of the operational and critical system having already been digitized, automated, and integrated, the concern has now shifted to how entities within the maritime industry should implement appropriate procedures and policies to respond to cybersecurity incidents effectively.

LGBTC youths are overrepresented amongst the homeless population. In spite of the fact that it is challenging to obtain accurate figures, it is approximated that LGBTC youths constitute 20 percent to 40 percent of the entire homeless youth population but make up solely 4 percent to 10 percent of the overall youth population. It is suggested that LGBTC youths are at greater risk of facing homelessness as compared to other youths (Cray et al., 2013). The inference of this is that they are almost 7 times over represented amongst the homeless community.
