" In addition, the war in Iraq has been another opportunity to see the effects of the weapons of mass destruction, which have caused the death of approximately 300 Americans and of a countless number of Iraqi people, in the American Government's point-of-view.

Even though it has been sustained for many times that "the War of Terror" is useless and meaningless, many scholars, such as David Tufte, sustain that "The short-run impact of military spending is for a boost in GDP. In the long-run however, the effects from the current war with Iraq will depend on what happens with oil prices. Oil prices tend to have a very big impact on the economy. An escalating price per barrel of oil can trigger a recession."

What can be outlined from this is the fact that modern wars seem to have economic conflicts as their main cause: World War II occurred because of the wish of Hitler and, implicitly, of the Nazis, to lead the world and to transform Germany into the most powerful economic force; the Cold War as well occurred because Stalin wished Russia to receive more benefits from Germany as reparations after the war and in the end, the War in Iraq seems to have at its base the United States' aim to have access to the oil in the area. All in all, the modern wars have occurred from economic problems and have the greatest impact on the economic aspects of countries as well: the economies are affected, taxes people pay increase, budgetary deficits as well because of the need to improve the military forces.

War In the past years media has proved to be the essential teacher when it comes to the history of certain events. Other than word of mouth, the media has been the most influential tool in our daily lives. From morning newspapers, to the radio on the drive to work, to the new Time magazine in the mail, to the 6 o'clock news, media is everywhere. Like it or not, media

Today the outbound telephone marketing industry has given political campaigns the ability to reach out to a large group of targeted voters in a quick and quiet way, just below the radar. This notion went way beyond the small volunteer call centers that have existed for over forty years. It was essential for the technology to be in place and widely utilized. Political campaigns could not have put into production

My subsequent 5-point prompt (see previous question) is designed to direct the student's attention to the necessary improvements, as explained. In retrospect, I could have anticipated the need to explain that details (and "showing the reader") meant details related to the main theme rather than details just for their own sake. Likewise, I could have anticipated the need to explain the purpose of dialogue within the story and the importance

One of the reasons for the task force is to enhance the Marketing Department. The Marketing Managers have no say so in the changes that need to be made. It is a business; they are employees. There were about seven employees from different divisions of the company on the task force. During the first meeting with the task force, Bacon allowed others to make decisions that he just went along with.

Wakefield's daughter becomes a powerful character in the film because she proves to her father that the war on drugs fails to address the root cause of addiction. Traffic therefore addresses several separate but interrelated issues: addiction, organized crime, law enforcement and legislation. Addiction is a fact of life; human beings become hooked on any number of legal and illegal substances. Banning drugs is no way to combat addiction. Therefore,

Iraq War As the end of the year slowly approaches, there is an expected transition of power by the United States and its allies to allow the Iraqi people to govern themselves. The media has tried to convince us that we as a nation have liberated the country of Iraq from one of the most brutal dictators in the world's documented history. Saddam equated to a modern day Adolf Hitler. Saddam
