...Women rights Comparative cultures: Portugal
Section I: Concrete Experience
I have been attracted to Portugal for most of my life, because I have some Portuguese ancestry. I was curious, for example, about how much of the culture of family has been influenced by this background, and what elements. But as I got older I also started just to take an interest in the country in general. I would cheer for Portugal at the World Cup and things like that, for example, when I don’t know if I had any reason to. I started to become quite curious about this place that was on one hand a fairly normal Western country that seemed like it would be familiar in many respects to my own life, but on the other hand also seemed to be quite a bit different – slower pace of life, high family orientation, less work-obsessed than one might normally find……

...Women rights Developing Ethical Leaders in Law Enforcement
At any point in time but especially during periods of social and political unrest, American citizens look to law enforcement authorities to provide them with the informed guidance and support they need to navigate their ways through these challenging times successfully. It is therefore incumbent upon law enforcement agencies at every level to create an organizational culture that places a high priority of ethical policing practices and to develop ethical leaders that can model the way for their subordinates. To this end, the purpose of this paper is to provide a review of the relevant literature to explicate the importance of ethical leadership and to identify strategies for developing ethical leaders in law enforcement today. A summary of the research and key findings concerning these issues are presented in the paper’s conclusion.

...Women rights Marketing Driven Strategy
In a market driven strategy the customer is the focal point, which means that everything the bar and grill does should be oriented towards benefiting the customer in some way. To know what OPG can do to benefit the customer, it has to determine its distinctive capabilities. These would be the strengths it possesses as identified in its SWOT analysis. It would also include opportunities identified in the same analysis. Then comes the step of matching customer value with the bar and grill’s capabilities and to ask whether leveraging the pub’s resources would help to create customer value. If there is a match and the pub can do it, the steps should lead to superior performance and a successful marketing driven strategy.
Positioning is key to this process and as Trout and Rivkin (2006) argue, a company must differentiate or die, which is what OPG aims to……

...Women rights Those Who Wear the Mask and Those Who Don t Life in a Time of Quarantine
Introduction
The quarantined life can be voyeuristically experienced via social media or by way of any number of the various videos submitted to Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube or Twitter by celebrities seeking to share with the world how they themselves are getting on during a time of lockdown. Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon interview friends from their computers at home and post them for our entertainment, and generally the overall feeling that one has is that in spite of the “serious” nature of the event, life in quarantine is like one big slumber party, where people stay in their pajamas, talk to friends using Zoom, play games, and while away the time reconnecting with family at home. In short, it sounds like an extended and much-deserved holiday for everyone. No problem, right? Then again,……

...Women rights The Cherry Orchard Play By Anton. Chekhov
Ms. Ranyevskaya’s behavior in Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard is replete with sentimentality, distraction, and nostalgia. However, lurking beneath her obvious mistakes and foolish dreams is a serious trauma—i.e., the drowning death of her seven year old son and the loss of her husband—leaving her a motherless widow. It is the unexpected entrance of death into her life that could be used to explain or at least indicate the presence of psychological trauma in Ms. Ranyevskaya’s character. It is Anya who tells of these misfortunes: “Father died six years ago, and a month later our little brother, Grisha, drowned. Sweet boy, he was only seven. And Mama couldn’t face it, that’s why she went away, just went away and never looked back” (Chekhov 816). Thus, Ranyevskaya’s absence from the family estate the past half decade, her ill-pursued love affair, and her spendthrift ways are……
