...Vocabulary Special Education Diverse Learners Project Guidelines
Section 1: Abstract
This paper provides an overview of Butler College Prep, its demographics, and its programs and services for special needs students. It looks at curriculum and instruction efforts as well as at the role of the principal in the school and how he oversees special education services and promotes the power of collective efficacy to motivate and help teachers and parents collaborate. It concludes with a personal reflection on what I have learned during the course of this project and what challenges the school faces in terms of a leadership structure to close the achievement gap.
Section 2: Demographic Overview
Butler College Prep is in Southside Chicago. Its student body is 95% African American and 4% Hispanic, and it serves as a school for social justice and the arts (School Performance, 2017). The socio-economic background of the vast majority of the families……

The host teacher used visual aids depicting plates, cups, and cooking utensils to teach the student's vocabulary signs and written cues such as police officer, earthquake, and security to teach vocabulary in emergencies reading comprehension. Visual aids and written cues helped the students communicate, learn and develop self-control.
The host teacher demonstrates strong communication … and support (PBIS) to reduce or eliminate inappropriate behaviors. The host teacher used pictures to initiate and maintain functional communication especially when teaching vocabulary signs.

Hansel and Gretel by the Brothers Grimm is a narrative tale and one can easily read it aloud to children. It is about two siblings whose father is a poor woodcutter and can no longer afford to feed the family. The cruel and selfish mother convinces the woodcutter to abandon the children in the forest, which he sorrowfully does. The children make their way back home the first time because Hansel is clever enough to drop stones as their father takes them into the forest. The stones reflect the moonlight at night and Hansel and his sister follow them home. Introduction: What is Level Five Leadership?
Level Five Leadership is a concept developed by Jim Collins in the book Good to Great. Level Five Leaders are top notch leaders: they are the greats who make big things happen. They are ones about whom books are written. They are the ones who leave the biggest shoes to fill when they are gone.
Collins describes five levels of leadership. This paper will briefly discuss the four levels that precede the top level. Then it will define what it means to be a Level Five Leader and will provide some examples of Level Five Leadership that can be found in the world today.

Camera angles determine how an audience interacts with a character in a film they are watching. This makes shot angles and camera angles some of the most significant aspects of a production. The emotions a character is going through can be highlighted by having the camera focus on them. When they are vulnerable, the camera can focus on them from a high angle. Further, the kinds of cameras employed in the film are important since scenes are shot with different cameras and then edited together. In Captain America: The First Avenger, the emphasis is on the key viewpoints and elements so as to inspire different emotions in the audience.
