...Scholarship End-of-Life Decision Making for Minors When the Minor Should be the Decision Maker
Today, the right of adults to refuse medical treatment when they feel it is not in their best interests is universally acknowledged, and physician-assisted suicide is even legal in nine states and the District of Columbia (Physician-assisted suicide, 2019). A growing number of health care providers are also maintaining that the right to refuse medical care extends to young people as well, but this issue is particularly contentious because the vast majority of adults in the United States believe that children need and deserve special protections that preclude end-of-life decisions. Drawing on a virtue theoretical framework, the purpose of this paper is to examine the arguments in support of and against allow minors to make end-of-life decisions for themselves, followed by a summary of the research and important findings concerning this issue in the conclusion.

Introducing Informatics Early in Nursing Education
Introduction
As Shackelford (2019) notes in “Industry Voices—Healthcare is Changing,” there is a serious need to reach future workforce members at an earlier age, before they enter into college and a nursing program. Students need to start developing real world skills that will translate well to professional development in the healthcare industry—and that means they need to develop communication skills, technological understanding, and have access to intro-level health care courses when they enter high school. Getting students interested in a future healthcare career at the age of 14 or 15 is a great way to prepare the future workforce and provide them with “career-ready” skills, as Shackelford (2019) puts it. The rationale for selecting this topic regarding the need to expose younger students to skills that can be used in healthcare informatics is that in today’s digital age technology is so much a part……

...Scholarship Understanding the Value of Qualitative Research
Qualitative researchers have a number of different research strategies available to them, including case studies, phenomenology, grounded theory and ethnography. Each of these research strategies has its respective strengths and weaknesses, but ethnography in particular represents a special challenge since it seeks to learn more about a group of people from the perspective of an insider. The purpose of this paper is to provide a review of the relevant literature to identify and describe and benefits of ethnographical research as a strategy for developing a better understanding concerning the lived experiences of others. A critique of Dr. Loïc Wacquant’s ethnographical work and a discussion concerning its implications for social change are followed by a description concerning the potential impact of research in supporting positive social change through public policy in the paper’s conclusion.

...Scholarship Purchasing and Supply Management at Best Buy Today
Headquartered in Richfield, Minnesota and founded in 1966, Best Buy Co., Inc. (hereinafter alternatively “the company” or “Best Buy”) is a leading retailer in electronics and other consumer products that competes throughout North America and Mexico today. As of early 2019, Best Buy operated nearly 1,200 large format as well as 51 small-format retail stores (Company profile, 2019). Despite its success in growing its market share in its existing market, the company is faced with the same existential threats as other major retailers, including most especially e-commerce operators such as Amazon (Wack, 2017). The purpose of this paper is to provide a review of the relevant literature to develop an informed and timely discussion and explanation concerning Best Buy’s new competitive environment and an analysis concerning how Best Buy's purchasing and supply management strategies contribute to their competitive advantage. In addition, an……
