Gallbladder disease, especially cholelithiasis (gallstones) affects over 20 million Americans every year. The condition often goes undiagnosed because cholelithiasis rarely presents symptoms. Abdominal discomfort, nausea, jaundice and biliary colic are some symptoms of the condition. Imaging techniques are the most accurate diagnosis tools for gallbladder diseases. However, laboratory values such as CBC, serum amylase, liver-function testing and lipase can help differentiate the type of gallbladder disease/or identify related issues. Surgery is the most effective treatment for gallbladder disease patients. Exercise, diet, and nutrition affect gallbladder disease. It is important for patients to integrate the healthy habits into their lifestyle to lower the risk of developing gallbladder disorders (Jugenheimer, et al., 2008).

Shareholder theory posits that a corporation’s sole responsibility is to maximize the return on investment (ROI) for shareholders. Stakeholder theory posits, on the other hand, that a company owes a duty to all stakeholders (not just shareholders)—members of the community, workers, consumers; in short, anyone who is part of or who is impacted in some way by the company. The question is: Do corporations exist only to serve the interests of shareholders or do they also have a responsibility to serve stakeholders as well? Colonial legacies persist in Africa in spite of a post-colonial era (Austin, 2010). These legacies have continued in post-conflict Africa’s history. In Africa, there has been no real unifying factor bringing individuals together, primarily because of the communal aspect of society throughout the continent. Community exists and can be found everywhere in Africa. Structural, dramaturgic and institutional factors in formal institutionalization in Africa of health care has come about as a result of investment, development, and political stability (Ratcliffe, 2013). The relationship among cultural traditions, laws of society, and the symbolic boundaries have served to create the structural meanings behind formal institutions; the expressive dimension, communicative properties and interaction of these elements have made up the dramaturgic, and the actors and organizations themselves have manifested the institutional. Equine viral arteritis (EVA) is defined by Timoney (2019) in the Merck Veterinary Manual as “an acute, contagious, viral disease of equids caused by equine arteritis virus (EAV).” EAV is also known as Epizootic cellulitis-pinkeye, Equine typhoid, and Rotlaufseuche (Timoney, 2019). The virus can cause symptoms of fever, conjunctivitis, depression, anorexia, nasal discharge, skin rash, subfertility in stallions, and death on young foals and abortion in mares (Price, Rentsch, Burn & Spector, 1998).
The etiology of EVA starts with respiratory exposure: the virus invades the respiratory tract, where it then proceeds to duplicate itself in the tonsillar tissue and nasopharyngeal epithelium, as well as in bronchial macrophages (Timoney, 2019). Cells infected by EVA then transmit the virus to the lymph nodes, resulting in further multiplication of the virus and ultimate release into the carrier’s blood stream.
