Business communication is mainly used to promote or market an organization as well as its products and service since it incorporates the steady flow of information. Additionally, business communication is not only used in transmitting information within a business but is also used in relaying information between a supply chain. While the supply chain basically consists of the consumers and the manufacturer, business communication is also used to tackle legal issues that a business experiences. Customer relations, marketing, advertising, branding, consumer behavior and pubic relations are some of the various aspects that business communication encompasses. Effective business communication is essential to both the basic management functions and productivity of a business (Joseph, n.d.).

As a sales person, business communication is vital for the success of the business and assurance of customer satisfaction. In the daily activities of a sales person, business communication plays two major important roles that enable the sales person to achieve the overall sales goals and provide customer satisfaction. The various types of both the oral and written communication methods ensure that there is a steady flow of communication between the sales person and clients. These significant roles of business communication in the everyday activities of a sales person are & #8230;

Interaction:

Business communication enables a sales person to interact with the customers in his/her day-to-day activities. Since business communication basically incorporates the constant flow of information, a sales person is able to interact freely with the customers providing them with information concerning the products and services. Without interaction with the customers, a sales person cannot achieve his/her overall sales goals because the customers will not have information concerning the products or service. The interaction between the sales person and customers is mainly through the oral communication methods such as face-to-face meetings or telephone calls.

Providing Feedback:

As a result of interacting with customers in order to promote his/her products, a sales person in turn receives feedback that determines whether the customers were satisfied with the products. This feedback ensures that the products that a sales person offers meet the existing market demands or whether there is a need to make changes to the kind of products being offered in order to guarantee customer satisfaction. Moreover, this feedback may involve the written communication methods such as sales reports and memos which convey customers' potential issues and other important matters.

Management of Daily Work Activities:
