1820, this nation has two distinct characteristics, both of which are destined to come to conflict. Firstly, this is a vast landmass of frontier, all of which is integral to the growth and future of America. Second, our current country is one of strict division, represented by those in the North and the southern gentlemen of the Confederacy. In the former, is opportunity and in the latter is certain danger. Both are rife with disagreements on terms.

Our independence and revolution from the British Empire were truly a mark of both our great strength in sovereignty and our status as heirs to European expansionism. Inherent in both of those is the necessity that we move onward to manifest destiny that lay to the West. We've proven ourselves a country of determination and power, but we've yet to realize the vast potential of what we may become. But it's in the lands, resources and peculiarities of the west that we can achieve that might.

At the heart of a flourishing southern nation have always been the principles of agriculture. Development and maintenance of a land and a farm; these are at the core of our values, socially and economically. Inherent to that system is the implementation of various methods, including but not exclusive to the use of Negro slave labor. Its financial liabilities are represented only by the slight sums necessary to feed, clothe, discipline and sustain these laborers. This price, relatively low compared to wage-paid laborers, makes it cost-effective. Likewise, it makes it the most reliable and fiscally responsible vehicle through which to development those very crucial territories in the west.
