Congestive heart failure (CHF) is one of the major cardiovascular diseases with high global incidence and prevalence in the United States. While numerous advances in evidence-based medical therapy continues to occur, congestive heart failure remains a major problem as it results in significant burden of mortality, morbidity, and costs. The United States has a prevalence of 5.8 million individuals with the condition and more than 960,000 cases annually. It is estimated that approximately one million hospitalizations linked to congestive heart failure occur annually. Most of these hospitalizations arise from worsened congestion among already diagnosed patients. The United States spends approximately $32.7 billion on congestive heart failure annually. BAI is a tool used to measure the level of anxiety in persons aged 18 and above. It is the criteria referenced assessment instrument. The Beck Anxiety Inventory provides professionals with a strong basis on which to anchor their diagnosis and decisions about the same (Beck et al., 1988; Beck & Steer, 1993). The instrument can be used to measure baseline anxiety to establish how effective treatment is as it goes on. It can also be applied as an outcome measure during the post-treatment period.

Merlin’s traits as a mentor are on display in later works by authors, such as Malory, who has Merlin serve as King Arthur’s mentor. Geoffrey of Monmouth does not make explicit use of Merlin as a mentor in the early Merlin works, but subsequent authors do, and Merlin is widely perceived in the mythology today as being a mentor of the King. This sense of mentorship can also be seen in Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings in the character of Gandalf, who serves as mentor for numerous characters—first, for Bilbo, then for Frodo, but also very much for Aragorn, who will be crowned king in the final book of the series.
As Goodrich notes, Merlin is always a good and wise mentor to King Arthur, and in Tolkien’s Rings novels, Gandalf plays essentially the same role for Frodo and the others. While……

In Western culture as a whole, sight or visual eyewitness proof or testimony is taken to be the ultimate proof of veracity, including of the construct of race. But what if sight were actually an impediment to true racial understanding? This is underlined in Osagie Obasogie’s book Blinded by Sight: Seeing Race Through the Eyes of the Blind which challenges the notion that racial identity exists outside of social constructs and that race can be identified visually.
