The Differences In Religions And Their Burial Rituals
...Opinion Introduction
The three dominant religions of Christianity, Judaism and Islam all shares some common characteristics when it comes to burial rites, and yet each has their own cultural quirks and issues. Each religion has different sects as well. Christianity was dominated essentially by Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodox for most of its history, but Protestant Christianity introduced myriad sects over the past five hundred years. Judaism has also seen various sectarian movements arise, but can generally be divided into Orthodox, Conservative and Reform Judaism. Islam has its sects as well, including Sunni and Shia. This paper will compare and contrast the general burial rituals of Roman Catholics, Jews and Muslims, highlighting sectarian differences when appropriate, while also relying on my own personal history with family and friends to shed more light on the subject from my own perspective.

Two globally popular sports that have become glocalized are soccer (football) in the U.S. and basketball in the East (China). The glocalization of soccer in the U.S. shows the way in which a globally celebrated sport has been Americanized in terms of how it is appreciated. Soccer has never had the appeal in the U.S. that it has had in Europe or Latin America. American sport has primarily been dominated by baseball, football, and basketball. Soccer, however, is now on the rise as the fashion trend of following an FC (football club) has blossomed in the U.S. and produced an aesthetic glocalization (Jijon, 2017). Abstract
This paper focuses on a bill currently going through Congress that would restrict the right of Americans to voice their support for the oppressed and marginalized Palestinian people by joining in the BDS Movement. This paper discusses why this issue is important to social welfare policy and shows that the bill would deny people the right to advocate by using social, political and economic means. The opposition towards the Israeli settlement practices in Palestine has already been condemned by the UN, but the U.S. Congress is now seeking not only to condemn the UN for its 2016 resolution against Israel, but it is also seeking to condemn any American person engaged in interstate commerce who chooses to support the UN resolution by boycotting Israeli products. What sorts of things bring out anxiety in you, past or present?
All individuals experience anxiety some or other time in life (for instance, when going for an interview, the birth of one's first child, or that first meeting with one's spouse's/significant other's family). Anxiety has been linked to modifications in our psychological state, in the form of uneasiness or trepidation, as well as physical signs like increased adrenaline or pulse; further, it is also understood that anxiety is a temporary state that persists till the cause of anxiety exists or till one learns to handle it. Hence, anxiety constitutes one among an array of emotions which functions to warn one of things one may have cause to be anxious about (i.e., potentially harmful things).
