Medicare Access And CHIP Reauthorization Act
...Happiness The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) changed the way health care providers are reimbursed through Medicare, provided an increase in funding, and extended the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). MACRA placed conditions upon care providers in order for them to receive reimbursement: care must be quality care, i.e., care that helps them to keep from having to come back for more treatment—rather than just treatment after treatment, keeping patients coming back through the revolving door of medicine without every actually helping them. The type of quality care required by MACRA is preventive medicine and health literacy promotion. As Licthenfeld (2011) pointed out, too many doctors are diagnosing patients with health problems that are insignificant and do not need treatment—but because Medicare was always willing to bankroll treatment it made good business sense to treat every patient for every symptom. The department would want to reduce customer complaints from the current 7% to at least 1%. For the department to achieve this goal, there is a need to have a quality improvement plan that will analyze the services offered by the department from the viewpoint of the customer. The service department must establish the root cause of the customer complaints and institute measures that are aimed at reducing complaints. By focusing on what is truly value-add to the customer, the department can manage to come up with meaningful and innovative outputs that will be suitable to the customer. Using the COPIS model, the department can transform the process by focusing on what the customer would be delighted with (Brown, 2019). The benefits of working while attending high school are that it gives the student the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, gain some experience in the real world, interact with new people, and learn a skill or trade that could potentially be useful at a later stage in one’s life. One can obtain interpersonal communication skills, develop a list of items to put on a resume, learn what it means to have a work ethic, learn how to manage money, and learn how to manage time (Hintze).
The drawbacks of working while attending high school are that it means one will have less time to spend on studies, reading assignments, and doing homework. If one factors in social time and the need to be with friends, the window of opportunity for actually focusing on school work in the after school hours closes substantially. Those who work……

Elon Musk And Power At Tesla
...Happiness Tesla is a company that has had at least a 5 year relationship with its CEO Elon Musk. Up until recently Musk was also Chairman of the Board. He was removed from his role as Chairman as part of a settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The settlement resulted from charges filed by the SEC relating to securities fraud when Musk’s public Tweet on Twitter about taking the company private and that he had “funding secured.” The statement was shown to be a lie (Gaydos, 2018). Musk settled with the SEC and paid a hefty fine and Robyn Denholm replace Musk as Chairman of the Board. Denholm had been a Board member for five years up to that point (Porter, 2018). Adaptive response refers to how the human body protects itself from injury or infection. It is the third line of defense after inflammatory response and innate immunity (Huether & McCance, 2017). Advanced practice nurses should understand patient’s adaptive responses to alterations caused by disease processes. This paper explains the pathophysiology of tonsillitis, irritant contact dermatitis (ICD), and stress responses as determined from scenario 1, 2 and 3 (see Appendix A). In addition, it presents the mind map of tonsillitis that shows epidemiology, pathophysiology, risk factors, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and adaptive responses.

Although Native Hawaiians make up only 0.2% of the population, they make a huge contribution to the American society (U.S. Census Bureau, 2009). This observation portfolio paper presents a summary of my experience and knowledge gained from analyzing four observation sessions in a special education classroom setting. Observation 1 and 2 was conducted in the morning, observation 3 of 4 took place during lunch break, and observation 4 of 4 was conducted in the afternoon. During my observation, I walked and looked around as the students started each morning with snacks, milk, and orange juice for breakfast followed by typing lessons, mathematics lessons, group calendar practice, and personal information binders.
