Introduction
Workforce management is one of the most important aspects of operating a business (Randolph Thomas & Horman, 2006). From a Workforce Management standpoint, Bass Pro Shops is strategically committed to the pursuit of quality over the long term. However, there are areas for improvement, as employee complaints of cutbacks, lack of job security, pay reduction, and so on, have led workers to view what was once a great place to work as now an organization that is more focused on customer service than it is on employee support. This paper will discuss the workforce environment of Bass Pro Shops, the nature of engagement and performance at Bass Pro, and how the workforce and leadership are being developed there. It will conclude with a discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of Bass Pro’s workforce management, opportunities for improvement, and proposed actions.

Project Management Plan To Upgrade Hospital Equipment

This project plan is for a hypothetical struggling hospital in the NY Metropolitan area. The hospital is on the verge of bankruptcy but is the only pediatric hospital in the area. It also boasts of some of the most innovative researchers and physicians in the country. The walls are peeling, some of the equipment is outdated, and staff morale is low. As the consultant project manager, I intend to focus on identifying and replacing the outdated equipment, raising the required funds using appropriate strategies.
1.1 Purpose of Project Management Plan
The purpose of the Hospital Equipment Upgrade (HEU) PMP is to identify all outdated equipment in the target hospital, develop a plan of how this equipment will be replaced, and identify the source of the funds required for this purpose.

Introduction
How can fake news be detected and prevented from dominating the online discourse of news events? Numerous researchers have been discussing this issue and identifying ways to detect fake news, whether on social media (Shu et al.) or by creating a benchmark dataset to facilitate the process (Wang). The topic of this study is fake news detection and what methods are available in this new field. The reason for addressing this topic is that fake news has been a hot button issue in politics ever since the election of Donald Trump. Understanding how fake new proliferates and what can be done to stop its proliferation is something that the digital community can benefit from. The inquiry question for this review is: What are some of the ways that fake news detection can be facilitated?

Shareholder theory posits that a corporation’s sole responsibility is to maximize the return on investment (ROI) for shareholders. Stakeholder theory posits, on the other hand, that a company owes a duty to all stakeholders (not just shareholders)—members of the community, workers, consumers; in short, anyone who is part of or who is impacted in some way by the company. The question is: Do corporations exist only to serve the interests of shareholders or do they also have a responsibility to serve stakeholders as well? In today’s multicultural workforce, gender remains an area where power disparity occurs. While other barriers are being broken down, there remains stereotypical views regarding gender roles that can influence the modern workplace. This paper will examine some of the prevailing research on the subject to determine the current state of gender norms within the workplace.
Diversity is typically considered a benefit to the workplace, but the way in which diversity manifests should nevertheless be taken into account. Diverse environments still retain some elements of bias, and these should be understood in order to get the best out of diverse environments. If the point of diversity is to improve overall organizational functioning, then the way that diversity works in the workforce needs to be understood complete.
