There is an ever growing demand for nurses in the Henderson area- an area that is already in short supply. The problems that Henderson is facing are very cyclical in nature. A lack of educational attainment in the area leads to a lack of trained professionals, like nurses. And yet with the high amount of drug usage that is going on in the area this is the one profession that is in great demand.

In order for this problem to be addressed there needs to be a push for an increase in nursing education in the area. Henderson appears to have the educational facilities that are needed to train professionals in the area, but seems to have a hard time getting people into the programs. There needs to be put into place some type of incentive program that will encourage residents in Henderson to go back to school and obtain advanced degrees in order to help the community as a whole to grow and prosper. Being able to properly staff rehab facilities along with developing good drug education programs will only help everyone in the community in the long run. Nurses are a key ingredient in fighting the drug problem that this city faces and can't be done with out them.

Mooresville Like many of the small towns throughout the United States, Mooresville offers a variety of residents. The groups that were observed during the window survey includes a lot of young and middle-aged families with a mixture of grandparents who seem to be the primary caregivers for their grandchildren (at least they seemed that way). A lot of the individuals seemed to be overweight, and even obese, in their physical stature.
