Health Risk Assessment

Changes to the demographics of the targeted population.

Overall, the physical health status among the targeted population declined slightly. While those reporting excellent/very good status remained the same, the percentage of respondents reporting good health declined, and the percentage reporting fair/poor health increased. There was, however, an increase in the reporting of excellent or very good mental health. This measure increased from 46% to 58%, and the percentage of respondents reporting fair/poor mental health declined from 22% to 16%.

While the gender of respondents remained the same a 38% male/62% female, the age of the respondents increased. This might account for some of the changes in overall health levels. What we found was that the number of respondents aged 18 to 44 declined from 5% to 2%, while there were increases recorded in the following cohorts: 45 to 64, 65 to 69, 80 to 84 and 85 and up.

In terms of education, there were only minimal changes to the demographics, though a slight increase in the amount of education that the respondents received. The racial mix of the respondents in 2013 saw an increase in Hispanic/Latino but slight declines among African-American and Asian respondents.

8. Rate of performance of initial Health Risk Assessments

Among the different plans, there were some notable changes in rate of performance. The first plan studied, Plan 002, saw an increase in new enrollees from 1068 in 2012 to 2889 in 2013. This naturally led to an increase in the number of initial assessments, from 226 to 310, but the rate of new enrollee compliance was much lower, declining from 21% to 11%. Reassessment compliance rate increased in 2013 from 12% to 19%, resulting in a sharp increase in reassessments, as there were also more enrollees eligible for reassessment. Reassessments increased from 79 to 183.

With Plan 016, there were 227 new enrollees in 2013, versus 73 in 2012. This resulted in more than doubling the number of initial assessments, though as was found with other plans the rate of new enrollee compliance declined in 2013. For this plan, the decline went from 97% to 74%. The reassessment compliance rate remained around the same, but with more than double the number of enrollees eligible for reassessment, the number of reassessments performed was also double.

With Plan 013, the number of new enrollees skyrocketed from 944 in 2012 to 4479 in 2013. As with the other plans, the new enrollee compliance rate declined,…

Building a health history with a new patient requires more than active listening and the development of trust and rapport. The intake interview and initial health assessment should be thorough, taking into account the area(s) in which the patient has lived, their workplace environment or work history, their family background and family health history, socioeconomic variables, and any other relevant environmental factors that may impact personal health. Of course, demographic

Risk Assessment Program Over the last several years, many small and medium sized businesses have been turning to cloud computing as a way of storing, retrieving and accessing vital information. This is when a third party provider will offer firms with these services at a fraction of the cost of traditional IT departments. Moreover, there is unlimited storage capacity and firms can readily protect themselves against vulnerabilities at a particular site.
