… approach to leadership. Otherwise the implications for allowing Egoistic personalities to lead the company are that the needs of stakeholders who are not shareholders are dismissed because the leader gets the most immediate feedback from shareholders and feeds on their approval as a means of stroking his own ego. This is putting the self first instead of the organization ……

...Shareholder Problem at Uber
Introduction
Uber has 22,000 employees worldwide and approximately half of its employees work inside the US. The company has nearly 1 million drivers in the US and approximately 4 million worldwide (Sainato, 2019). The problem that Uber has is that it does not consider its drivers as actual employees even though this categorization has been challenged at the federal level. Regulators have argued in the past that the company should count its drivers as employees rather than as freelancers or contractors. Drivers too have argued that they deserve the benefits, protections and compensation that regular employees receive (Rapier, 2019). However, the National Labor Relations Board's general counsel recently revealed that Uber’s drivers will continue to be classified as contractors. Though the company has viewed this as a victory for its business model, there are plenty of problems that remain as a result of this continuation of what……

...Shareholder Amazon is a company that takes its social responsibility to stakeholders seriously. As it is a company that operates all over the world, it recognizes that it has a truly global role to play in making the world a better place. That is why it focuses on sustainability as one of its core corporate social responsibility (CSR) objectives (Amazon Sustainability, 2019). Its other CSR programs include working with Feeding America, Worldreader’s LEAP 2.0 program to promote education among underserved populations, and “Girls Who Code,” to help promote gender equality in the IT industry. Underlying these CSR programs is a Code of Ethics that seeks to promote compliance with all local, state and federal laws and to foster a strong ethical spirit among its workers.

...Shareholder Enterprise Risk Management in Wells Fargo during the Pandemic
Introduction
As Beasley (2020) points out, enterprise risk management (ERM) is especially needed during the COVID 19 pandemic because of the “number of different, but interrelated risks spread all across most organization” (p. 2). COVID 19 is not just a factor that has impacted one business or industry. It has impacted all businesses and all industries in different ways. Grocery chains like Kroger, for instance, have seen increased demand. Restaurants on the other hand have seen business dry up due to mandated quarantine orders. Small business owners and large corporations have filed for bankruptcy. All of this impacts the banking sector and Wells Fargo specifically because of its role in managing loan products, using interest rates to attract savers, and offering investment advice. “No single risk associated with the COVID-19 pandemic crisis can be managed in isolation,” as Beasley (2020) points……
