...Economy Racial injustice is a part of American history. In spite of legislation like the Civil Rights Act of 1964, racial injustice remains rampant in the United States. Police brutality is one of the most visible areas in which racial injustice manifests itself. The murder of George Floyd was only one of many similar instances, the majority of which go unreported due to the “blue wall of silence” in police culture. Even if poor leadership in policing is more to blame than racism itself, the fact that black males experience a disproportionate number of such instances and are also stopped and arrested more often than their white counterparts, shows that racial bias is endemic in American society.

A novel approach to organizational behavior, Bolman & Deal’s (2013) model includes the structural, the human resources, the political, and the symbolic frames. The symbolic frame refers to the organization’s use of signs, symbols, and stories to create a brand identity and organizational culture, as well as justify its behaviors. Symbols create and propagate meaning, and encapsulate an organization’s written codes of ethics and values.
Therefore, symbols become one of the most powerful means by which to create and control organizational culture. Bolman & Deal (2013) explain the five assumptions underlying the symbolic frame. The first involves the salience of meaning. What matters most to an organization is not what happens, but what it means on a deeper symbolic level—how actions or facts are interpreted in light of the overarching stories, myths, or symbols that guide the organization and its members.

Contracting out is often justified according to the principle of economic specialization. In other words, it is best if a particular organization focuses on what it does best. An organization should not spread itself thin. It is also more efficient for organizations to operate on economies of scale. For example, a widget factory can make widgets, and then subcontract its customer services offshore, so it does not have to divert needless resources into training and human resource development. Subcontractors can theoretically provide certain products at a lower cost and thus justify outsourcing.
On the other hand, when an organization subcontracts out it cedes a great deal of oversight to the outside organization. Safety of the final product may be in greater doubt because of the lack of direct supervision of its construction. Also,……
