Team work

Although the concept of working as a team is generally accepted as a productive activity, some individuals often ignore the advantages coming along with team work because they consider that it is more important for them to be appreciated independently. Team work has been present in society ever since the beginning of humanity, as people realized that it was best for them to collaborate in order to perform certain activities. Similarly, particular acts seemed to be easier and more fruitful when only one individual was involved. Whether team work is better than independent work largely depends on the conditions that one has to deal with at the time when he or she has to make the decision.

Complex activities normally require cooperation between several individuals, as it is ineffective and normally unproductive when just one individual is involved. Even when a person is considered to be a genius, it is virtually impossible for him or her to have more chances than a team of geniuses to succeed in a particular activity. A history of evolution has demonstrated that teams are almost every time more likely to succeed in a give business while independent individuals are probable to encounter serious difficulty in the same enterprise (Hanlan xv).

It is only logical for one to consider that "two heads are better than one" in almost every domain, given that several individuals can influence each-other in generating significant thinking whereas a single person can easily come across important problems in making something work. Team work is practically a result of the fact that individuals found that it was more difficult for them to perform certain tasks and decided to get help.
