It is very important for Howe to pay all their debts and free themselves of the liability since a lot of loan like credit card loan, car loan, student loan, are hampering Howes to save up more. If they have plans for retiring in 22 years, they need to free themselves of all the loans and credit they have on them, thus saving up the interest money that goes out monthly. They can use that money for other expenses and purposes. In short term they might feel like they have lesser funds but they can have the relief that they don’t own anything to anyone and focus on saving for their future. Introduction
Stoloff, Good, Smith and Brewster (2015) determined measures of success in a number of ways: 1) whether students attended graduate school within 5 years of graduating, 2) the departmental score on the Major Field Test for Psychology (MFT), and 3) completion of the program by students. Other factors had been tested before, including student-teacher interaction, and used as measures of success. The study by Stoloff et al. (2015) aimed to build on prior works and to show what the relation between student success and test scores, graduate school attendance, and program completion was overall. This paper will provide a summary of the article by Stoloff et al. Introduction
In early 2020, January 3, the U.S. launched airstrike attacks around Baghdad International Airport and killed two of the most influential leaders in Iran, Iraq, and the surrounding regions. The strike killed Qassem Soleimani, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps- Quds Force's Major General, and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the Deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Commission, and also the founder of the militia known as Kata' ib Hezbollah (Jahanbani, 2020). The strikes happened when there was an escalating conflict between the US, Iran and Iraq. This was after December 27, 2019, when a famous proxy from Iran by the name Kata' ib Hezbollah killed several pro-Iranian Militia members and a U.S. citizen four days down the line. Reliance Industries was founded by the Ambani family in the 1960s in Maharashtra, manufacturing synthetic fabrics. The company went public in 1977. Chairman and MD of the company is Mukesh Ambani and the Ambani family controls 46.32% of the company’s shares, which are listed on the National Stock Exchange of India. The company currently oversees 158 subsidiaries and has 7 associate firms with nearly 30,000 employees (Reliance Industries, Limited, 2019). From the 1960s to the 1980s, the company was managed by its founder Dhirubhai Ambani; but after suffering a stroke, Dhirubhai gave control of daily operations to his sons Mukesh and Anil. Although the precise causes differ from organization to organization, the high costs that are associated with unplanned turnover are well documented. In fact, in some professions, replacement costs for employees can easily equal their annual salary or even more, so identifying strategies to reduce turnover rates represents a valuable and timely enterprise. To this end, the purpose of this proposal is to provide a description of the problems of interest and what can be done to mitigate these issues. A description of the implications of implementing the career management program is followed by the key recommendation that emerged from the research. These recommendations include providing employees with a career management plan that motivates them to acquire additional education and training as well as instilling an enhanced sense of organizational loyalty to reduce turnover levels.
