...Nursing Obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCDs) is a term that refers to anxiety disorders that are characterized by uncontrollable obsessions and compulsions. The condition is a chronic, long-lasting disorder in which the individual has recurring thoughts and behaviors. The obsessive and compulsive symptoms can affect all aspects of a person’s life including personal relationships, school and work. There are various kinds of obsessive-compulsive disorders with different signs and symptoms as well as treatment approaches. It therefore follows that the continued emission of greenhouse gases does indeed threaten public health both in the short-run and in the long-term. For instance, the emission of greenhouse gases has been linked to the increase in global temperatures – which has in turn been linked to a higher prevalence of infectious diseases.
One effort of the federal government in as far as reigning in the emission of greenhouse gases was the passage of the Clean Air Act. ...Nursing Healthcare professionals usually encounter challenges to address the health conditions facing female patients. In light of the changing nature of today’s society, chronic and acute illnesses among women have become more prevalent. The prevalence of such illnesses is attributable to the unique health issues and conditions that women experience in their day-to-day life. While some of these health conditions affect men too, they are more severe among women. Given the unique health conditions, women experience chronic and acute illnesses that affect their overall health and wellbeing. Differential Diagnoses Of Bronchitis
...Nursing Bronchitis is a condition involving inflammation of the airways that transport air to the lungs, which are commonly known as the bronchial tubes. The inflammation of the bronchial tubes results in a cough that usually brings mucus. From a clinical perspective, bronchitis is usually diagnosed based on cough as well as occasional wheeze, dyspnea, and sputum (Wark, 2015). As part of the diagnosis, the physician or clinician examines various clinical characteristics of this condition. Some of the clinical characteristics of bronchitis include a lower fever, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and wheezing. These clinical characteristics in turn help to determine whether the individual suffers from acute or chronic bronchitis. For acute bronchitis, these clinical characteristics last for few weeks while chronic bronchitis is characterized by more severe clinical attributes.

According to Vasileiadis, Alevrakis, Amepelioti, Vigionas, Rovina, and Koutsoukou (2019), asthma happens to be rather common. Although it could be deemed a minor health concern amongst some people, the condition could be life-threatening for others – especially in relation to asthma attacks. It should be noted, from the onset, that “an acute asthma attack occurs in the midst of the chronic disease of asthma” (U.S. National Library of Medicine, 2019). Asthma does not have a cure. This effectively means that for those with the condition, the relevance of working closely with a qualified medical professional in tracking (and responding to) symptoms cannot be overstated.

Infectious Disease Mononucleosis
...Nursing At present, the symptoms presented by the student are consistent with infectious mononucleosis (IM) caused by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). This includes symptoms that appear to mimic those of the flu. In addition to a sore throat, the patient complains of aching joints and fatigue. It should be noted that an elevated temperature and swollen lymph nodes were revealed following an initial examination by the FNP. The lab results were, however, unremarkable and a Monospot test turned out to be negative. Overview: Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), in basic terms, “is a cancer that starts in white blood cells called lymphocytes, which are part of the body’s immune system” (American Cancer Society, 2019). In this case, the lymphocytes affected begin abnormal multiplication and collect in various places of a person’s lymphatic system. When this happens, the lymphocytes affected can no longer be able to fight infections – effectively making the affected individual prone to a wide range of infections. As the American Cancer Society (2019) points out, although most of those affected by NHL happen to be adults, children could also suffer from this condition.
The cause of NHL could be traced to the DNA mutation of lymphocytes (Evens and Bloom, 2015). Why this mutation occurs is yet to be understood.
