Fruit Science Report
Washington Navel Oranges
Introduction
In as far as appearances are concerned, the Washington Navel orange happens to have a rounded shape … a commercial venture or as a past-time activity in a home orchid setting. It is important to note that the flesh of the fruit is firm and has a distinguishing deep color. The taste of the fruit could also be described as tangy and distinctly sweet. The Washington Navel orange, according to Ramsey and Markell (1920) “originated at Bahia, Brazil, … and Markell (1920), some of the Washington Navel orange cuttings “were transplanted to Riverside, California in 1873 and started producing sweet, juicy, seedless fruit that had crisp texture and an easy to peel skin” (89).
The history of the Washington Navel orange would largely be incomplete without … onset, that subtropical climates happen to be optimal for the growth of Washington Navel orange trees.……

...Fruit How to Rid Oneself of Diabetes through Healthy Dieting
Concrete Experience
I started my health and nutrition program study after I began reading more health literature. I had seen my father’s health erode as a result of poor dieting and lack of exercise. He suffers from diabetes and is convinced it is not related to his lack of dieting or exercise, but the literature I had read convinced me otherwise. Davis (2008) showed that natives in the Marshall Islands developed diabetes when they moved away from their natural, organic diets and began consuming pre-packaged, fast foods. He initiated a program that returned them to a lifestyle of living off the land and sea, which gave them exercise and a healthy, organic diet. Their diabetes disappeared (Davis, 2008). Bray, Nielsen and Popkin (2004) and Malik et al. (2010) also have shown a link between consumption of high-fructose corn syrup, soda pop……

...Fruit Norovirus: Symptoms, Causes and Treatment
Introduction
When wintertime comes, most people are excited to get out, do some holiday shopping, visit relatives, and enjoy the holidays. However, there is always the risk at this time of year of catching a bug—aka a virus. The most common fear is of catching the flu virus, which is why flu vaccines are advertised around every corner at this time. Yet, there is another virus that people do not consider so much—and, unfortunately, it is related to food—which is especially worrisome, given that Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s all fall during the same season when the norovirus is most likely to strike. In fact, given that these social holidays are all packed tight into the winter season festivities, that is one reason the norovirus is so likely to hit so many at this time.
The norovirus is known as the winter vomiting bug or……

Self Care Action Plan

...Fruit A Self Care Plan for Preventing Burnout at Work
Abstract/Summary
An action plan is a way to establish a step-by-step guide for oneself to follow in order to achieve a goal. The main goal for this action plan is self-care. There are six areas of self-care that this action plan focuses on: physical, emotional, cognitive, social, financial and spiritual. The action plan identifies three sub goals within each area and describes the steps that I will take to reach those goals. This specific action plan was chosen to prevent me from becoming burned out at work. Self-care is important as psychologists and even the bible have shown. This paper provides support for the plan using scholarly sources, books, and other reference material, and the action plan shows why the goals and steps described are helpful in my self-care plan.
Outline of the Action Plan
This Action Plan will go through……
