(Science Daily, 2007) George Denton, of the University of Maine and David Marchant of Boston University term this region to be "a relic landscape, since it is the single place on the face of the earth."..that looks almost exactly as it did millions of years ago. The delicacy of the landscape in the Dry Valleys has preserved for us an unusually rich collection of geological evidence of the processes that formed this terrain." (Science Daily, 2007)
DISCUSSION
Marsh has opened the view of science in relation to how the earth's crust was indeed formed and has chosen an ideal location for making a study of the issue presented in the foregoing article relating to magmatic formation of the crust of the earth. This study is likely to open even more scientific views in other studies relating to earth formation science and geological study. It will be of great interest to science as well as adding great value to scientific knowledge to become informed along with these studies as they progress and are reported by Marsh and colleagues
